By using AVEVA PDMS™ (V12.0/12.1) and Sikla SiCAD4PDMS V4.3 plug-in Pipe Shoes and Assembly Groups can be imported into PDMS 3D DESIGN and DRAFT module. Sikla can also provide a digital components library that covers all available siFramo Systems (F80/30, F80, F100, F100/160) as well as Sikla Structural Elements (Beam System 100 and 120) and Sikla Strut System. A material list (BOM) can be extracted by a mouse click into an Excel file. The Sikla plug-in is able to handle imperial and metric units for length and weight so that the user is able to create support drawings and material lists matching the requirements of the project. In addition to the PDMS DESIGN module the Sikla plug-in is also available for PDMS DRAFT module – Sikla support drawings can be extracted semi-automated (including different views, material list for support system and/or pipe shoes, line descriptions, material numbering according to the material list etc.).
A material list (BOM) can be generated by a touch of a button and can be extracted into an Excel file.

Placing a Pipe Shoe
When a Sikla Pipe Shoe is being placed on a beam (Sikla beam section or structural I-, W-beam etc.), the Sikla plug-in will check the height between top of steel (TOS) and bottom of pipe (BOP) to offer a suitable height-adjustable Sikla Pipe Shoe for the application.

When a Sikla Pipe Shoe is being placed on a siFramo beam section, the user can pick a PPOINT on the upper edge beam section to adjust the height of the pipe shoe automatically.
