By using Intergraph® Smart3D (V2011 or V2014) and Sikla SiCAD4S3D V2.0.8 “Hangers & Support Manager” Pipe Shoes and Assembly Groups can be imported into S3D. Sikla can also provide a digital components library that covers all available siFramo Systems (F80/30, F80, F100, F100/160) as well as Sikla Structural Elements (Beam System 100 and 120). A material list (BOM) can be extracted by a mouse click into an Excel file. The Sikla plug-in is able to handle imperial and metric units for length and weight so that the user is able to create support drawings and material lists matching the requirements of the project. The Sikla plug-in is also available for S3D task “Drawings and Reports” – Sikla support drawings can be extracted semi-automated (including different views, material list for support system and pipe shoes, line descriptions, material numbering according to the material list etc.).
